Steve A. Oliver, MD
Dr. Steve Oliver earned his M.D. degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana and completed his Residency in Family Medicine at US Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton, California. Dr. Oliver has been continuously board certified in Family Medicine since 1982 and has also had 17 years of experience in Urgent Care Medicine. He is currently certified as an Independent Medical Examiner by the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners and has a current medical license in Indiana.
In addition to 26 years of civilian practice in Family Medicine and Urgent Care, Dr. Oliver has had 21 years of active military service including clinical Family Medicine practice, faculty positions in two Family Medicine residency programs and leadership positions. He has held appointments as an Assistant Professor at the Chicago Medical School, Texas A&M University School of Medicine, and the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. Dr. Oliver has also been trained as a Flight Surgeon in the US Air Force and has extensive experience in evaluating individuals for Fitness for Duty and serving on Medical Evaluation Boards to make determinations for disability and medical retirement.
